How do you choose topics or questions to answer that will bring views?

I’m looking for expert opinion here. I’m a web writer. I’ve recently switch from writing on topics of my expertise to a more generic topics because 1) ideas have been exhausted and 2) I felt so restricted. It appears I not getting much views from new topics written compare to views I’ve been getting. But i know there’s a way out of this. So, could some expert here walk me through how to choose topics or questions to answer that will bring me more views?

These are tips where you can get topics that’ll get you more views:

Trendy topics. Trendy topic are topic happening now. Like for example during 2019, Corona virus was the trendy topic.
General topic. General topics that general to human, animal, place things or abstraction. Avoid topic that is of interest to only one particular nationality, religion, profession, age group or gender.
Popular topics. Choose a topic or a event that has grabbed everyone’s attention. For example Iran-palestine war.
Evergreen topics. Choose topics that has been a topic of discusion since it creation. Topic like “Fall of roman empire” for as long as people learn history of antique romans, will forever stay evergreen. Or even this topic “How do you choose topics/questions to answer that will bring views?” for as long as people use platfom with views and followers functionality will always stays evergreen.
Eventual topics. Topics that popular during certain times or day of the year. For instance during 2024 Ramadan, topic like “when is laylatul qadr 2024” or “when is 2024 Eid fitr?” are eventual topics that brings in views.
Wildly followed/viewed. Choose questions or topics which are followed/views by many people so that your answer comes up in their feeds. To know wildly followed/viewed topic or questions in a platfom, use search engine command “Question/topic” site:platfomname.com and the first result on search results is most viewed and followed of the question/topic in that platfom.
Follow users of large followers. The users with large followers have access to questions or topics, which have the potential to go viral. That way you know question/topics they’re answering, and provide more and better answer to the question/topic.
Related topics/questions. Whatever platform you’re using when you search a topic/questions that’s interested to you, and you notice list of related topics with high viewers and follower count, that searched topic/question and its related topics have tendercy of bringing more views.
Any controversial topic/questions that slam the few and glorify the majority regardless who is right or wrong, has tendency to go viral. Examples in a country like India, a topic/question that slam and shame IIM and IITs blatently and make people from lesser colleges feel proud will get more views as majority of indian students graduate from lesser colleges.

Writing is about learning and understanding the subject you’re trying to write before writing. I think the reason for not getting views is because you don’t show expertise in the topic you’re writing. People could easily notice writers who barely knews what he’s writing from those who actually knew.
