What are some ways people lose money without noticing it?

Some Africans believe money has evil spirits that makes people to lose it and makes people to desire to have more. I am not going to talk about the desire to having more money because that will be a different topic, my focus is in a case of losing money in whatever influence. So, I’m asking what are some ways people lose money without noticing it?

Mario Bros Italiano In recent years of boundless knowledge available online for free, i think the way to lose money which many were not noticing is to pay for tuition fees for higher degrees hoping to get knowledge from school and be satified for job or upgraded in job position. A job which by your old age, you lose.

Here are unnoticed ways people lose money:

Buying several cheap pairs of footwear and compromising on quality. I would rather spend more on a brand if it will last me for at least a year or two.
Not waiting for a clearance sale before shopping. You can get everything for at least 50% off during such sale.
Not building your wardrobe on classic items of clothing. Never think twice about paying more for a button-down polo, white crew-neck tees, blue jeans, dark-colored slacks, a blazer or jacket, and a dress in solid black and navy (for women), and scrimp on trendier pieces.
Magazine and newspaper subscriptions. You can find everything online now.
Spending more for brand-new paperbacks. I buy books from second-hand bookstores.
Enrolling in fad-ish or trendy fitness classes, and not being able to sustain the routine.
Sometimes feelings of loneliness or discontentment, or the desire to escape troublesome emotions, can lead to spending more as a way to cope.
Trying to impress a date or friends is a waste of money. Look for better dates, and hang out with new friends – those who don’t measure your worth in terms of how much you spend on them.
Allowing advertising to brainwash you. Limit your exposure to TV shows and social media, and quit reading magazines and product catalogs.
Not being mindful of what you eat. Have a weekly meal plan so you can eat nutritionally balanced meals 80-90% of the time. You’ll buy and consume less junk food and fast food.
