Jameela ohunene That the Jews (also Israelites) were descendants of Yakub (Jacob aka Israel). The 12 tribes of jews originated from the 12 sons of Jacob. Among the 12 tribes of Israel were messengers and prophets, whom Allah has sent to Israelites.
The Messengers were sent with divine messages confirming the preceding messages and updated with new laws adjusted by eras; prophets continued the message in between messengers.
Among the jew tribes were believers who believed, accepted and submitted to Allah’s will; who do good (pray, fast and kind to helpless poor and needy, who guided their chasteness). Among the jews were evil ones who commit treachery, who belied Allah’s message, who indulged in unethical prohibited practices (such as shrik, fornicates, treachery, usery, gambling…), and were sages (rabbis) who learned Allah’s message but decided to altered its laws in their favor in hope for worldly gain.
