Abdulfattah Ogirima Yusuf Actually I love the Quran scripture and anyone would love it as law IF applied correctly for those who believe in it.
First, according to quran does not mean muslims follow it correctly because as any holy religion believer they are born into it but rarely someone bothered to read it themselves and read the clear scripture in it.
Sticking to the question now, it states that Israel and Bani Israel ( Children of Israel) were there as descendants of Abraham ( Our prophet ) it also continues the Ibrahimic ( Abraham’s religion) as Islam literrary means Surrendering to god but in arabic thus gives the influence it is a different religion.
Basically it states Islam is a continuous message of Torah and Bible, and continues the message..
The prophecy is what makes a lot of confusion between Muslims (again because they rephrase it from speakers) but its stated as simple as it comes in the Quran scripture is the Israeli people were blessed for he sent them the selected prophets from God ..
Then it speaks about some betrayals when they betrayed Moses ( some of them not all) and continues to the … argumentative prophecy that causes some confusion if not read completely
The prophecy says : The Israelis shall inherit the land twice, and on the second time they shall be given the final chance, If done well they shall prosper and inherit the riches of earth, but if they have not the wrath of god shall be upon them and all will be taken back once and for all.
Now if you paraphrase that context and be selective you can (as many Islamic preachers) choose to deliver that they are banished and shall forever be punished.
But that is not what the Quran says, nor in origin story (which we share) nor in end result, it actually speaks of free will and not inheriting the sins of any of those who were misguided and left the teachings of Moses and the Abrahamic teachings.
Now, the most important part is Islam does not preach about a land name, and if I were too religious and if I am given the choice it will make more sense to name the land Israel as mentioned and nostalgic in our scripture than Palestine a name given to the land by greek envasion….
The stubborn and complex dilemma now people face is they way forgotten about the name, and way pretentious to think Palestine is arabic and islamic, while the scripture and constitution of Islam calls it a holy land and birth place of the Islamic Ibrahimic religion.. but again not my choice.
Now specifically who OWNS the land ? NO ONE !
According to Torah/Bible and Quran there is never a mention of owning a property but rather about the Holiness of the land and by nature, a Holy place should be accessible to all religions by the one God aka according to Quran the deliverers of his holy books including Torah and Bible and the least talked about Al Zaboor ( not sure what it translates to) but according to Quran two holy books were versed upon the Israeli children and the later is Torah, before Christ was born.
More importantly what is happening now does not match either teachings of any Holy Book, its stricly political driven by Idiots who are abusing religion to separate the same people.
In a technicality, our called palestinian community derives its name from the occupation but on another technicality, being born there makes us Israeli by birth (religiously), so choosing a name really shouldnt be the issue… except for the uneducated .. it is
I hope i didnt drive a lot off topic to deliver those notes, although basically i could write pages to cover all basis but this is me being brief (ironically).
