Jason Hamaan Neither money nor poverty is the root of evil. Money, in general, enhances and give access to things in life which the the poor can’t afford. Poverty, on other side of the coin, give first-hand experience of reality of life which the rich can’t learn. So, neither money nor poverty is the root of evil. So, the question is what’s root of evil?
The root of evil is lack of self-control. Without self-control, the rich’s greed is boundless, while the poor’s envy is the strongest. Self-control is differentiate people from animals.
