I’ve only ever experienced it once, I’m young so don’t necessarily take it from me, I thought I knew what love was but when you actually meet that one girl, you realise how clueless you were.
Love for me was knowing I had found the person I wanted to spend my life with, I found myself envisioning a future with her, a family. I’m not one for the cringe aspect of love lives, but that’s how it really felt.
I’d awake every morning thinking about her, and fall asleep talking to her. The butterflies are a real thing, you could know the person so well yet instantly freeze up not knowing what to say. She dominates every aspect of your day, the thought of her makes you happy, and smile. Feels like you’re in invincible, that that someone will always be there by your side supporting you through everything. You can’t imagine life without them and the thought of that ever happening is the scariest thing ever, but you risk it because they’re worth it. That’s my experience with love, may differ from person to person but that at least is my one descent into the perils of “love”.
