You don’t have the rights to treat animals violently let alone humans! Is that what you called discipline?
I related a story about when i was talking to an aquintance about a day-to-day life, a passing child inadvertently kicked dusts on our polished shoes while he walks away, and the one i was talking to said to me "SEE, CHILDREN OF TODAY DON’T EVEN KNOW THAT IN OUR DAYS YOU COULD BE BEATEN FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
- Seeing elders on the roadside and not greeting them 🏃
- Greeting elders but not able or refused to bow correctly 🙇
- Indeliberately kick dust on people as that boy did just now🏃
- Eating too slow😳
- Eating too quickly🤤
- Eating too much🤣
- Not finishing food🤞
- Eating and talking😢
- Finishing your food and scrapping your plate🤫
- Refusing to eat😋
- Eating food prepared for visitors😋
- Looking at visitors while they are eating👀
- Crying while being beaten😭
- Not crying after being beaten🔥
- Crying without being beaten 🥺
- Eating at neighbors house🏡
- Standing while elders sit👯
- Sitting while elders stand🧑🦼
- Nodding head to react yes/no in response to elders speech🙊
- Saying yes/no in response to elders speech🔊
- Exhausted after so much work would be seen as a pretence😉
- Working hard even though tired would be seen as a way to dodge other works😉
- Failure to realize the presence of elders carrying load and not helping👷
- Refusing to help the far away villagers who requesting for labor force in their farm😡

I smiled, and said in my mind “why wouldn’t these kids be stubborn when they got punished for all reasons in the name discipline!”
I could attest most child who passed through such high oppression will grow up and become dumb rogue!
