Did you know ancient Egyptians were not Black nor white?

Egyptian mummies discovered recently looked pretty much as they look today, with a gradation of darker shades more like a reddish-brown. They were neither Black like the Ugandans nor white like the Poles but a darker Asian due to the sun’s heat.

The ancient Egyptian classification of ancient peoples (from left to right): a Libyan, a Nubian, an Asiatic, and an Egyptian. Regarding skin color, the Libyan has the lightest complexion, followed by the Asiatic, who is yellowish in appearance. The Egyptian is reddish-brown, while the Nubian is black. Each group is also marked with their own distinctive hairstyles and clothing. The representation of ethnic groups in Egyptian iconography has been a source of dispute among scholars.Though there might be a few ancient Egyptians that are darker and whiter in complexion, this may be the result of settlers and interracial marriages.

But as far as geographical location is concerned, ancient Egyptians were mostly in Africa rather than in Asia. But that doesn’t define their racial color as Black.
