Sphinx’s noses were broken we found who’s guilty

Pro-Africanists believed Egyptian Sphinx’s nose statues were damaged during the colonial era rather than enduring millennial wreckage.
They criticize that European colonizers intended to erase African claims on ancient Egyptian civilization, that the Sphinx statue had African noses. This claim was no truth.
The truth is Sphinx statues noses were not broken in present days it’s in fact during the ancient times where native looters’ attempt to prevent retaliation by the tomb owner’s soul. Such statues were understood to be “alive,” with a need to eat, drink, and breathe. Cutting off the nose would, in theory, be an effective way to cut off the statue’s source of breath with only a few blows of the chisel.
