First you must understand who were the infidels noted in Quran. Anyone who lacks religious faith were likely not infidels as everyone onto what he believes. And the fact that at some point in time the whole world weren’t religious, we are all once there before; go back to stone age and you realize they’d no religion. Infedels were those people who knew wrong actions but lack the consciousness to do to others actions which he wouldn’t allowed others to do into him regardless of any reason or ages. He does so to satiate his amusement.
Such people were whom Islamic scripture actually say that should be killed.
