Jameela ohunene This question is likely from non-muslims or from Muslims who once had argued with Jews and Christians that Quran was plagiarised from holy bible and Torah. People often believed since Islamic Quran came at later time, it must have been a copied work of Christian bible (Gospel) or Judaism scriptures (Torah, Talmud..). Hence, Quran plagiarized.
Did Quran plagarised? No. Why? Because Plagiarism is the “use of another person’s written work without acknowledging the source”. The case of Quran doesn’t meet with the criteria classified as plagiarism, as the book acknowledged the preceded divine religious scriptures being true, NOT against it. And it clearly stated that the Quranic message was not to overwrite the preceded message of divine scriptures but as a continuation of the divine message which the true God, the God of Abraham (Ibrahim) inspired prophets before Muhammad (PBUH).
