Antonio Matteo Thank you for your question.
The lack of money is not the root of all evil.
The evidence for this are the countless examples of people who have grown up in poverty; yet, choose not to become adherents of evil. This is the difference between someone with a thin wallet, and someone with a thin moral character. One can still choose to do what is right, though money is not as available as desired.
Another aspect of this is equally wrong: the excess of money is the root of all good.
Ultimately, though money can make life easier, people still choose whether they will live a path of evil or good.
I trust this helps.
