What's the worst thing about being Nigerian?

Nationalist Nigerians, including myself believe being a Nigerian have been the luckiest thing to be. But some few Nigerians and most of foreigners thought being Nigerian is worst thing to be. Why and why not?

Admin The worst thing about being Nigerian is the Poor health system in Nigeria. If you notice places in Europe, America, and east Asian these governments prioritise citizens health, and they provide quality affordable healthcare system while some made free health.

The case of Nigeria’s different. Not only didn’t Nigerian government provide very poor health care but also at high cost. Did you know there are local government council in Nigeria which still rely on traditional herberlist. No modern healthcare system!

Other places may have quality health infrastructures but no qualify medical practitioners. Not to mention that most of qualify Nigerian medical practitioners have left the country to places where they got paid well; places in Gulf states and West europe and North America since Nigeria can’t afford to pay for their quality health service.

Moreso, with the non-stop naira inflation which gradually wiping out working class Nigerians, Nigerian workers can’t afford to pay for their medical bills.

So, what’s the solution to Nigerian poor healthcare?

Nigerian government should invest in health care system. The government should increase the pay for medical practitioners, and should subsidies healthcare services for everyone’s affordability.

Admin While i love and proud to be a Nigerian after i received my green card, but one problem is you can’t continue loving a country which doesn’t upgrade you rather kills you silently. The issue of Limited access to clean water and sanitation is one of the worst situation occurring to Nigerians including myself.

Besides air, which human, breath, water is the next important life sustenance. The lack of quality water supply in Nigeria has render hundreds of million Nigerians especially ones in rural areas sick due to water disease. Even in few big cities experienced water shortage, due to this, private home owners have to dug well and bore-holes for source of water which were hard waters not good for human health.

Because there shortage of clean water, sanitation is hard to achieved. Many cities in Nigerian were highly poluted, unsafe to live.

What’s the solution to shortage of clean water and sanitary?

Providing of quality water and sanitation are the work of the federal and state government to its citizens. Nigerian government must not turn back against core responsibilities. The government must build more dams amd repurpose the available rivers, water falls amd streams for quality water source. Sanitation is vital in a society. The government should provide quality free sanitary material for individual citizens, and sanitation must proceed.
